I'm Jason Fisher, founder of SetRunner and StageRunner, the global soundstage marketplace and media company serving the production community. Before working as a producer and head of production at Disney, Paramount, and AMC, I studied Architecture and Design at Tulane University and developed a deep love for visual storytelling, space, and the creative process behind building worlds for film and television.

I created SetRunner because I saw both a problem and an opportunity.

Sets, locations, and environments are increasingly becoming digital as technology improves and studios look for smarter, more cost-effective ways to produce. More of what once had to be physically built, scouted, dressed, or photographed can now be created, extended, or enhanced digitally.

But production designers and art departments are not AI experts — and they should not have to be.

The opportunity was to build a tool that lets designers keep working the way they always have, while giving them far more powerful technology in the background. Production designers already think visually. They work with sketches, floor plans, mood boards, materials, textures, references, and instinct. SetRunner is built around that process.
